WISE UP Workshops CIC is a local health & well-being community organization in Morecambe and the surrounding areas. We offer workshops using art forms to learn life skills, build resilience, self-esteem and confidence in young people of all ages and all abilities.

WISE UP celebrates individuality.

Now in our 5th year of running as a non-profit making organization we have various success stories for example; where young people have built the confidence in themselves to apply for paid employment, they have helped to develop and build a positive community through volunteering, young people have accessed training for a career in theatre, and for some local young people being ‘a part of something’ has given them life skills.

WISE UP work with young people from all areas in Central Morecambe, Morecambe West End, Poulton, Carnforth and Lancaster. We deliver workshops to young people aged 3-18 years of age and our services are accessible to all; we provide our unique approach for children on the spectrum, young people with physical disabilities, additional needs and learning differences and young people who have mental health issues.

Much of our work involves devising, theatre skills and creating productions. To do this well and to make it a positive experience for the young people involved we are looking for funding for good quality and reliable staging and sound & lighting equipment that is mobile and tailor made for young people in wheelchairs.

Funding/sponsorship can purchase equipment;

  • Portable lighting rig £600.00
  • A sound system £500.00
  • A portable stage £4000.00

Or Fund;
